Household tax credit
24 You can get a household allowance from the tax authorities for the work you order from the Center, provided certain conditions are met. Here we summarise the household allowance for 2023.
The household deduction is primarily deducted from the tax on earned income and capital income.
For example, you can get a household allowance for renovation or cleaning work you order from 24 Center. The work must be done in your own home, a second home, a holiday home, or the home of a spouse, parent or grandparent.
You can apply for the household allowance by notifying the tax authorities of the deduction, for example when filling in your personal tax return.
The personal contribution is EUR 100 per person.
The deduction for work ordered from 24 Centres and other companies on the pre-tax register is 40% of the proportion of the work subject to VAT. You can calculate the deduction using the following formula:
(Work share € x 40 %) - 100 € = Household allowance
The maximum deduction is €2,250 per person. As the deduction is personal, a married couple can receive a total deduction of €4,500. If the €2,250 limit is not exceeded, it is advisable to claim the deduction for only one person, so that the deductible is exceeded only once.
