Content of the installation service:

An easy and safe solution for installing an electric vehicle charging point in your home or cottage. A professional service covering all the basic installation steps.

  • Installation from 1 week after purchase

  • The customer will be contacted by phone and an exact installation time will be agreed.

  • Fixing the charging station to the wall or to a wall socket (on a ready-made cable)

  • Basic supplies: props, screws, connectors, electrical wiring, etc.

  • Connecting the feeder cable to a pre-installed electrical cable in the main electrical panel of the house

  • Charging current adjustment

  • Commissioning inspection and installation report

  • User guidance for the customer

  • Cleaning up and recycling of installation waste

Installation service not included, but available as additional work (85 €/h):

  • Installation of the feeder cable to the main electrical panel by surface traction

  • Wall joints and gaskets

  • Installation of fuses or a residual current device

  • Installation of the surface module housing

  • Diamond drilling and special openings (e.g. in concrete walls)

  • Other electrical work and structural modifications

Things to consider before ordering:

  • It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that there is sufficient capacity in the electricity system for the charging station (fuses, residual current device and cabling to the main electricity exchange).

  • The customer must check that the purchased charger is compatible with the electrical system of the property.

  • If the product cannot be installed, an additional one hour labour charge (85 € incl. VAT) will be made.

Additional fees:

  • Additional work 85 €/h (min. 1 h), accessories at the OVH price

  • Service vehicle fee 45 € if supplies are picked up during the work

  • Invoicing surcharge of €10 for a paper invoice if no email address is available for invoicing additional work

You can claim a household allowance for maintenance and renovation work in your home or leisure home. These include renovations to your kitchen, bathroom, other rooms or the sauna in a detached house. Electrical, plumbing and cabling work in a private house is also covered by the household allowance, as is, for example, painting an outbuilding or installing a security lock. The maximum household allowance in 2025 will be €3,500 per person. The deduction only applies to the labour portion of the bill, not to travel expenses or materials, for example. In 2025, the deductible share of the cost of the work will be 60%.

You will get the full deduction of €3,500 if the work on the invoice amounts to at least €5,833. This is because 60% of the amount corresponds to the maximum amount.

If your spouse is also entitled to a deduction, you can get a total household allowance of €7,000, in which case the work portion of the bill must be at least €11,666.

The household allowance has a deductible of €100 per person.

Typical damages covered by home insurance include water damage caused by the breakage of pipes or connected appliances, fire, smoke and soot damage. The amount of compensation for water damage is affected by the age of the broken appliance or pipework.
