24 Center Christmas tradition

24 Center Christmas tradition

While candles are lit in the windows of homes and Christmas carols ring out in the shops, 24 Center is busy at work. Despite the hectic and busy weeks, the festive spirit of Christmas also touches the everyday life of the Emergency Centre for Building Services.

A good example of this is the traditional distribution of Christmas decorations to employees. Not only does the basket contain traditional Christmas treats from mulled wine to chocolate, but there is something surprising in each one.

"There's pea soup in this basket."
"Here's another cell phone charger."
"And in this basket you'll find a Red Bull."

The 24 Center people know each other well. The basket of pea soup goes clearly to Laur, who starts the army in January. The mobile phone charger is certainly a testament to Kalle's Christmas basket, which is always running out of battery and missing its charger. And the Red Bull laced Christmas basket certainly belongs to Ismo, who never goes without the energy drink.

It's a Christmas tradition at the 24 Center, combining employee remembrance, community and a little competition. Christmas baskets are personalised with one item that represents the person. Before the baskets are distributed, everyone makes a guess based on the contents of the basket as to who they believe it belongs to. The person with the most points wins this playful competition. As well as remembering employees, the baskets are a great way to get together and reminisce about the past year. It's a chance to race, laugh and prepare to celebrate Christmas with important colleagues.

24 Center would like to thank our partners, customers and stakeholders for the past year. Although it has been an exceptional year in many respects, our cooperation has been good and will continue to be strong in the coming year.

A peaceful Christmas and a happy New Year to all!
